Yes. If you suspend Apple Pay by putting your device into Lost Mode instead of immediately canceling the cards, you can resume using them when you find your device and turn off Lost Mode. If the cards are removed, you can add them again later.

Can I add a card again if I deleted it?

Yes, you can add a card again to the Wallet app after removing it.

How many devices can I add a card to?

Apple does not impose a limit on how many devices you can add a card to. However, the card issuer may have its own policies.

How many cards can I add to a single device?

You can view your recent transaction history in the Wallet app on your iPhone. For a more accurate and complete record, it’s recommended to check the statement from your card issuer.

Can I add a card from another bank to Wallet?

Yes, as long as the bank is one of the Apple Pay participating banks. Apple Pay is compatible with most major banks and card issuers.

Why do I see a “Done” checkmark on my iPhone when the store terminal says the payment was declined?

The “Done” checkmark on the iPhone indicates that the payment information was successfully transmitted from your device to the terminal. In this case, the payment decline happens on the store terminal’s or payment processor’s side for other reasons, such as insufficient funds, an issue with the card, or a problem with the terminal itself.

Will I receive a notification for declined transactions?

Apple’s system does not send a specific notification for declined transactions. You will see the transaction status on the store’s terminal. If there is an issue with your card, you may see a message such as “This card cannot be used” in the Wallet app.

Does removing a card from my iPhone affect the card on my paired Apple Watch?

No. Removing a card from your iPhone does not automatically remove it from your paired Apple Watch. You need to remove the card separately on each device.

Does unpairing an Apple Watch from an iPhone remove the card from the Apple Watch?

Yes. When you unpair an Apple Watch from your iPhone, all payment cards on the Apple Watch are removed.

if my iPhone is lost or stolen?

If your iPhone is lost or stolen, you should use the “Find My iPhone” feature to put the device into Lost Mode, which suspends Apple Pay. You can also remotely remove your cards through your Apple Account or by contacting your card issuers.
